7 1/4" gauge "DART"

Hi,

does anyone have any patterns or unwanted castings for this loco as i have bought it as the guy who started it died and i am looking to complete it, so far i have just the basic chassis, trailing wheel horns and thats about it, or if anyone has any pics of there own DART that might be of any assistance.

Hi Rob
The description of Martin Evans 7.25" DART was given in:
THE MODEL ENGINEER volumes 147-149
In fact it was covered once a month in 16 issues.
Starting 4-17th September 1981 issue number 3664.
It continues in the even numbered issues.
Final details were on 3-16th December 1982 issue 3694 I know that these back issues are available from homeworkshop.org.uk and some other secondhand railway bookshops as I purchased a complete set some years ago when I built one. I have since passed these onto a friend of mine who is in the process of building one. He has also got complete set of the Marin Evans drawings that I had. He has also has surplus the unused set of gunmetal castings for the Horns of the Trailing Axle and the associated pair of wheels but it appears you may have already got them.I have several photos of the engine during construction which maybe of interest but these were taken before digital photography was invented so I am unable to email them to you.
