Bassett Lowke 2-6-0 Tank engine

I recently acquired a Bassett Lowke 2-6-0 tank engine. The original drawings and design for this engine are by Ernest A. Steel, A.I.Mech. E., M.J.I.E. Consulting engineer. The drawings and the original Basset Lowke catalogue description are, as far as I am aware, from the 1950's, and are for an 0-6-0 tank engine.

The example I have is 2-6-0 and is possibly a one off, to a modified design, I have among the drawings for this loco some hand drawn examples relating to modifications needed to achieve this layout.
It's possible that this loco was built in the 1980's, I base this on nothing other than the fact that the earliest boiler test certificate I have is from a commercial company of insurers located in Wolverhampton, dated May 1983.
Has anybody else got one of these brilliantly designed engines or have any information regarding it.
Any information would be enormously helpful.
