Gordon Smith soft pop safety valves

I'm looking at making some of these but all the ones drawn are too small. Does anyone have a copy of the formulae involved in designing these - I guess it's in the EIM articles somewhere. I am particularly interested in deciding how big to make it and how to size the height of the shroud (which I understand is critical).
Thanks
Peter

Peter, Polly models had a list of drawings for G.S. Safety valves, and supplied springs and balls. When I made 'Gordon Too's' s/valves I used the 10 1/4" one and that has proved to be more than adequate.

I am well aware of that, but, as the first sentence of my post says - even the biggest one drawn up is too small, hence my request for the articles to allow me to design something of a more sensible size.
