Experence of Oxygen Concentrator?

I have found on a glass-working website the recommendation to use an Oxygen conentrator in lieu of potentoially expensive disposable oxygen cylinders for a propane/maxgas and oxygen torch. The supplier told me that it will gve about 5l/min at 5psi, and was probably ok for welding/brazing but not cutting, but I wondered if anyone had any experience?

Nick, like you, faced with the expense of gas cylinders for only occasional use, I moved over to plasma cutting. The unit is small and will cut up to 12mm (though I've yet to try that thick) and cost just £200, a sum easily swallowed up in bottle charges. All you need is a compressor with a flow of around 4cuft.
