narrow gauge track

im completly new to 7 inch gauge we are building a 7 1/4 narrow gauge railway in our garden im useing 21mm steel rail and 3x2 timber what sleeper spacing would you recomend im thinking 200-250mm center spacings .
whats do you think

Sleeper spacing would normally be determined by expected load/rail section. For our sort of usage, with that section of rail, I would think your projected spacings will be very suitable, and should look railway like.
