First run on compressed air Hunslet 7 1/4

Hi Gent's, Although I have many of my Hunslet elements completed today is the first time I tried to run the Chassis on air, The valves have been set to be line for line when the cranks are at top dead centre on each side in forward gear, the system seems to want to run BUT air is continuously leaking via the exhaust pipes, I though I might remove the bottom connecting rods each side from the two wheels as the chassis seems to want to lock at one point of the revolution, please accept all the components have been made to drawing and are dimensionally accurate. Any advice or comments would be most helpful.
