Brookside Miniature railway ca. 1910

I loved the 'vintage carriage' in the previous post! Here is Guy Mitchell (nearest seated) and family and nanny on his railway in Sheffield circa 1910. The loco is one of the first Bassett Lowkes. Note multi-gauge track! No specific evidence for it but I believe the thick rail between the 3½" gauge track was to operate a pump on his small scratch built loco. It was quite close to my home and the Abbeydale Miniature Railway of today. More photos if you visit sheffieldmodelengineers.com.
