ADDING MORE STORAGE AT ABBEYDALE's WOODSIDE CARRIAGE SHED
Work has started on removing timber cladding and demolishing a façade wall that supported climbing plants to be replaced by a lean-to shed that will accommodate three carriages currently stored elsewhere on site. The straight track will be shifted sideways into the new shed to give adequate clearance from the main line. The existing shed holds twelve carriages and is partly underground so it's invisible from the adjacent woodland.
