Weston Park open Weekend - 6-7th May 2012
Here's some clips from this weekends Weston Park open running day. Including a nice double header with the baron/tarn beck. I apologize for the slight camera shake, I didn't have the camera tripod with me that weekend. View Video »

The railway also has a 7 1/4 gauge line but as it is unusual to have a 3 1/2 gauge electric loco so i thought it appropriate to share it with you. View Video »

16E At SMET track at Perth
After about 3 years I have finally just about got my 5” gauge South African Railways class 16E back together and up and running once again. One thing this model always had was a good sounding beat. Over the last few days after passing her boiler test I experimented with different sizes of blastpipe nozzles! Too small and it pulled the fire to bits but sounded great, too large and the fire went great but there was just no beat coming out the chimney. Finally I got it right and this model sounds just like the real thing at times. I made up this video at Perth track in the snow using a few different cameras and sound recorders etc so sounds different from each item. View Video »
