Climbing 1 in 12 slope with the FO HG 3/4
Newly arrived Furka Oberalp Bahn HG 3/4 climbing the rack section.This is a 1 in 12 accent and is achieved using the cogwheel low pressure compound engine hung between the frames. The locomotive used the Strub rack system in 7.25 for simplicity as opposed to Abt which is used by the full size machines. View Video »
