Selling my freelance 2-4-0,
I brought this over 12 years ago because of the name (i know, silly excuse)
It was orginally built in the late 80's in wigan, by apprentices at a valve company. There Tutor who designed and got them to build the loco, was one of the designers of the commet jet planes under carriage.

Now there are 2 reasons for the sale, one is the mrs is fed up of it being sat under the stairs, second i'm needing to raise funds to help a planning application for my 10.25" railway.
However if it doesnt sell i wont be upset as i dont really want to let it go.

Now for details
It doesnt have any boiler paperwork, and will probably want a new boiler given that the orginal was made of very thin steel (acceptable when it was orginally built)
It is slip eccentric valve gear which makes it very easy to drive.
1 injector, an axle pump and a hand pump

It comes with 2 side tanks which the loco was orginally built with
And the driving truck thats seen in the photo.
