Description

General Gordon locomotive from Station road Steam, with driving tender.
Kit build version and is latest type with newer valve gear and snifter valves.
Locomotive benefits from S.R.S whistle and fitted vacuum brake kit, as well as having barker water gauge glass protectors fitted. It also has auto drain cocks (great for easy removal for transport etc) fitted, original stored for provenance. There is also an open/shut regulator indicator. Injectors have been swapped for D. English models and work well and can be worked down to 30 p.s.i
The loco also has a lowered stainless steel grate from blackgates engineering, as well as a cowl around the whole grate, which makes disposal a very clean task. (original grate kept and restorable with no damage to original items)
Loco is in Wilkinson’s aerosol blue.
The tender has air brakes and has an internal compressor and leisure battery (gel type), along with regulator valve and lever, plus rectus fitting for main train connection. Superb cushioned padded seat and coal space / foot rest at the front. Tender is painted 2 Pac ral 5022 deep blue.
The kit was finished late 2021, the hydraulic is valid till 22/02/26 and steam till 22/02/24.
