Description

Boiler built by DL Pownall in 1983 for R Carter, has been based at Brighouse
all it’s life.
Boiler comes complete with Lagging, Smokebox shell, Chimney, Dome and Top
Feed cover, most blackhead fittings, SS Ashpan new in 2017, Vac ejector and
Handrails .
Owned by me since 2012, full Boiler History including 4 year Hydraulic Test
completed on 20.12.2020
Reason for sale - Loco being remade into a rebuilt Jubilee.

Boiler repair to small weeping seam on blackhead. Method of repair agreed with
Southern Fed was set screws fitted followed by full
seam weld. Completed in 2014, since then no problems.

Some pitting on firebox outer lagging were it meets the cab front.
would recommend replacing.
