Public Liability Insurance
We are a not for profit ltd company with charitable objects. We run for 2 hours every week on a small track by the side of the Methodist church in Nantwich. We do not charge and all donations go to childrens charities (including the Railway Children Charity) We are currently classed as a commercial railway (by Everywhen (Walter Midgley) and have to pay £1300 plus for Public Liability Insurance. There is usually a reduction for Railways which do not carry passengers (general Public) more than 12 times a year but we are not allowed any easement even though we run not more than 100 hours per year. Does anyone know of an insurance company who could help?
