Advertising on behalf of a friend at Leicester Society of Model Engineers who is selling due to ill health. K1 type locomotive. Built 2021 and has full ticket until May 2027. Model design originally by Martin Evans LNER B1 copper boiler Fabricated by Rob Burns (done 4-5) Copper welded by Author Sosby in Leicester No drawings but basically a LNER B1 chassis but 2-6-0 rather than a B1 which is 4-6-0 LNER Aluminium tender with leaf springs All axles are on roller needle bearings, fitted with ejector tender. Has vacuum brakes, water feed to boiler is by two injectors. Loco is very good runner and frequently hauled passengers at Abbey Park, Leicester.
