For Sale: Myford ML7R 3.5" x 20", back-geared, 14 speed, gap-bed screw-cutting lathe. This one is fitted with the Super 7 clutch ( beats slipping the belts) & a Super 7 tailstock. Mounted on a Myford 2 shelf cabinet stand with a deep chip tray and levelling blocks. Comes complete with … a Burnerd 4-jaw chuck, 3-jaw chuck ( inside & outside jaws), Faceplate. Set of screw-cutting change-wheels (for Metric & Imperial) & Thread-dial indicator. Graduated handle to the lead-screw end. Adjustable axial carriage stop. Myford-Dickson type 2 station quick change tool post with 4 tool-holders. Cabinet stand has 4 industrial adjustable feet. 230V Single-phase, resilient mounted ¾ HP motor. Forward /Rev Switch plus emergency stop. Belts in good condition. Paint generally good but a few chips & scratches. The headstock bearings are very good; use has been very light, no discernible bed wear. Comes with an original Myford dust cover. Why selling ?? Well, I don't need two & I do need the space. This nice ML7R is ready to go for anyone needing a general-purpose low cost accurate machine. Viewing and a running demo welcome before you commit. ( It is currently strapped on a dolly (not included), to assist moving. ) I have a level driveway, so it's easy to load – Lathe is relatively heavy ~150 kg, so bring suitable transport and, ideally, a second pair of hands (with man attached !!). If the lathe is taken off the stand (the electrical wiring is labelled to help dismantling), lathe and stand should fit in most hatchback/estate cars. Selling Price: £950 .
